Timothy W. Libby - Bio

Timothy W. Libby is an Account Manager for Libby Communications, a marketing communications firm based in Muskegon, Michigan, that specializes in serving clients in the aerospace, aviation, IGT, defense, energy and general industrial market segments.

Tim earned a B.A from Gettysburg College in English Literature with a Minor in Philosophy, graduating cum laude in May of 2002. Tim began his career as a Client Manager at DG Systems, a company that provides distribution services to broadcast advertising industries and operates a network specifically designed for spot distribution. There, he managed high-profile accounts such as Dell, working closely with agency representatives at DDB Needham.

In October of 2004, Tim was recruited by FastChannel Network to begin working on their newly developed digital spot distribution website. In less than two years, FastChannel became the world’s largest TV, Radio and Print distribution company ─ offering a comprehensive, online platform through which advertisers digitally manage and distribute their advertisements.

Working as both a Client Manager and new-business sales representative at FastChannel Network, Tim became an expert in digital spot distribution, storage and development. Responsible for managing 67 clients, including Wal-Mart, RadioShack, May Company, Six Flags and Gateway, Tim has extensive knowledge of advertising spot creation, digitization, distribution and airing.

In May of 2006, Tim joined Libby Communications, working as an Account Manager on new and existing accounts. In this  position, he will be responsible for media relations, PR, advertising and other marketing communications needs of the firm’s clients.
